Fastenal Europe would like to invite ambitious, hard-working individuals to apply for the position of Full-Time Supplier Content Analyst. OVERVIEW
Working as a Full-Time Supplier Content Analyst, you will be responsible for facilitating the integration of supplier product information into Fastenal’s own platform to be optimized for use in all downstream systems. You will be working as a liaison between suppliers and our Product Information Management team to understand, map, and communicate changes on product data from a variety of platforms. You will be a key stakeholder in reporting on level of completeness and areas of opportunity specific to our supplier partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Utilizing system and industry knowledge to drive efficiencies in the product onboarding and enrichment processes
Serving as a subject matter expert and primary contact for suppliers on content syndication
Owning syndication process by effectively communicating data and process requirements to suppliers
Mapping fields of data from variety of source systems to Fastenal’s own systems
Managing new product onboarding, product changes, and product discontinuations through regular data feeds, portals, or other publishing methods
Helping to support large content projects via supplier outreach and communication
Driving improvement opportunities with suppliers by helping to identify gaps in product data, product assets, and customer feedback
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
1-2 years of experience in an analytical role
Previous experience with Content Management Systems or large data sets is recommended
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French
Proficient with Excel functions; Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
Very strong attention to detail
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and accountability
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills
Exhibits flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Willingness to travel, as needed
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess or are working towards a degree in Statistics, Marketing, Data, Project Management – or related
2+ years of experience preferred in consumer-packaged goods or retail industry
1-2 years related experience in product onboarding, digital commerce, data management or content syndication
Knowledge of 3rd party syndication tools and programs or other PIM (Product Information Management) platforms
Some knowledge of and/or basic understanding of web-based layout/design programs
