About those fireworks: this year Prague City Hall has cancelled its traditional fireworks display on January 1, 2020 and will stage a videomapping at Wenceslas Square instead. An alternate fireworks display, sanctioned by Prague 2 but not the city and organized by the group “Fireworks for Prague,” is scheduled to take place on January 1.
