5 Must-Have Summer Looks

With the grey days of winter squarely behind us and summertime on the horizon, Maria Kohutik fashion director at Dolce Vita magazine, shares her favorites among the season´s top trends. While Kohutik admits that shopping in Prague can be a frustration, even for those who work in the industry, on-line shopping is on the rise throughout Europe, with sites like Net-a-Porter and Asos, which offers free standard delivery worldwide, stocking a multitude of labels.

Platform wedges
“Platform wedges are still very cool. Marc Jacobs, Chanel, and Fendi do it best,” says Kohutik. Prospekta Moda carries Fendi and Jimmy Choo. Too spendy for you? Blocks of color
“Bold colors and color blocking will be big this season; look to the latest Prada and Gucci collections.” Tend to shy away from shocking shades? Start out simply by pairing a two-tone top with black pants or accessorizing a yellow dress with a red hair blossom. For ultimate impact stick to solid colors that are complementary, like cobalt blue and orange.

Oversized “statement” accessories
