Mark the date: on June 10, 2017, the Beach Boys will be returning to the Czech Republic for the first time since 1969.

One of them, at least. The current Beach Boys lineup features original member Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who joined the group in 1978, along with supporting musicians that include guitarists Jeff Foskett and Scott Totten.

Love founded the group with his cousins, the Wilson brothers, in the early 1960s. Dennis Wilson passed away in 1983 and Carl Wilson followed in 1998. While Brian Wilson is still considered a Beach Boy, he no longer tours with the group.

In 1969, the Beach Boys played a trio of concerts in the former Czechoslovakia, at Prague’s Lucerna complex and in Brno and Bratislava.

On June 10, they’ll return to Prague for a show at Prague Congress Center.

Tickets for the June concert go on sale from tomorrow on Ticketportal.cz
