📱 TECH TIP OF THE WEEK

The city of Prague is expanding the functionality of its Lítačka app, announcing a host of useful new features including the ability to pay for parking.

In addition to paying for parking, users can view a map of paid parking zones, navigate to a parking spot, set notifications for the end of parking validity, extend it, and securely save a card for future one-click payments for parking and transit tickets.

As of this week, the U.S. has an official ambassador to the Czech Republic. Bijan Sabet presented his credentials to president Zeman earlier this week. He also shares his Spotify playlist which includes tracks from Lorde to The Lumineers, Radiohead, and Maggie Rogers.

📺 WHAT TO STREAM THIS WEEK

"Il Boemo", a historical drama based on the life of Czech composer Josef Mysliveček, a friend and mentor of Wolfgang Mozart, premieres on Netflix on February 22.

The movie has been nominated for 11 Czech Lion awards, and was the Czech Republic's official submission to the 2023 Academy Awards in the category of Best International Film.
