Thought Prague had seen the last of the tropical temperatures?

Think again: forecasted highs this weekend will soar back into the mid-to-high 30s.

This time around, however, a perfectly-timed local festival might help you cool down. It’s the Prague Ice Cream Festival, now in its very first year of operation.

This Sunday, August 30, you can chill out at the Ice Cream Fest at the Holešovice expo grounds, inside exhibition complex #67.

Tickets to the festival cost 110 CZK, which entitle you to browse the festival grounds and enjoy ice cream from the many exhibitors at what festival organizers are calling “bargain prices.”

How many exhibitors will be there?

More than 40 sponsors with stalls include Carte d´Or, Café Amato, Häagen-Dazs, Cacao Prague, Acaimania, Creme de la Crème, Fruitisimo, Gelati Ice Caffe, Fruta Libre, and many more.

Go ahead and compare them all.

You can also check out some delicious photos of the treats you can expect at the festival’s website or Facebook page.
