Renowned American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan will perform three concerts at Prague’s O2 Universum hall from Oct. 4-6. The shows will be part of his Rough & Rowdy Ways tour, named after his latest studio album, released in 2020, according to his website.

The 83-year-old Dylan will begin his European tour in the Czech capital before heading to Germany, France, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom.

Dylan first performed in the Czech Republic 30 years ago, playing in a packed hockey hall at the Prague Exhibition Centre on July 16, 1994. He last took the stage in Prague five years ago, offering three intimate concerts at Lucerna, where he played new arrangements of his classic hits and songs from his 2012 album Tempest.

Like at his recent UK shows, concertgoers may have to forgo using mobile phones during the Prague performances. Organizers previously announced that Dylan did not want the audience to make unauthorized recordings during the concerts, and they used special cases to block phones at the venue entrances.

One of the most influential cultural figures of the past six decades, Dylan has written over 600 songs and sold more than 125 million records worldwide. He was the first rock musician to win the Pulitzer Prize and received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016.
