Citibank Appoints New Consumer Bank Head

of Citibank Czech Republic, subject to mandatory official consents. The appointment highlights the increasing importance of consumer banking for Citi in the Czech Republic.

, who begins his new role in October, has been working for Citi since 1993. He is a results-oriented business leader with proven track record across wide range of retail and corporate banking products, processes across various geographies as India, Dubai and Russia. Most recently Bhaskar had an opportunity to lead the Retail Bank in Citibank Russia. His role in Prague is to take over the responsibility for Retail Banking and Consumer Lending including Credit Cards business.“The appointment is a part of our strategy to continue in expansion of the retail business and providing excellent services.
