Czech company Enjoy Tech Limited is preparing to launch the mass production of its unique amphibious minibuses, which can be used not only for waterway tours and cruises (the video shown here was taken in Slapy), but as an important rescue vehicle during floods.

Production facilities have been created outside of Prague; manufacturers say that demand is already high from the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and China.

The floating bus is based on the standard Mercedes Sprinter, which has been modified with special software which turns on the marine engine. The bus holds twelve passengers.

Note the prototype’s vanity plate: “Bus Akva 1”!
