There’s no doubt that buying and running a car is an expensive business. For foreigners living in the Czech Republic, navigating the various options for financing a car can pose further complications. But now, a dealership in Prague is lending a helping hand to expats in the country by offering significantly discounted rates specifically for foreigners.

Auto Průhonice, an authorized Volvo dealership in Prague’s Průhonice area, has announced special deals for new Volvo cars for foreigners working in the Czech Republic. All you need to do is provide proof of a Czech employment contract, and significantly better prices will automatically become available to you: no matter which country you come from or what field you work in.

“All we require is proof of a local employment contract for foreigners, a document proving that you live in the Czech Republic, or a diplomatic passport. It doesn’t matter which job sector you work in, or where you are from,” said Jakub Deml, Marketing Manager at Auto Průhonice.

The special offer is part of Volvo’s long-term commitment to supporting foreign workers throughout Europe. The company's focus on expat communities was born of the company’s tradition of supporting diplomatic staff. Volvo has provided vehicles for the diplomatic corps since 1956, including for representatives of Embassies and Consulates, the United Nations, the European Union and other international organizations.

“This is a special program with a long history and tradition, which we are now expanding to include all foreign workers in the Czech Republic. All you have to do is work abroad, and you are automatically entitled to remarkable savings on Volvo vehicles. The special conditions for expat buyers in the Czech Republic will be available until at least the end of the year,” said Deml.

The Volvo dealership at Průhonice offers expats an individual approach and a significant price advantage. Various methods of payment are possible, as with any normal car purchase, including payment by instalments. Purchases are not tied to the Czech Republic in any way, meaning expats can take their special discounted car with them if they leave for their home country or anywhere else. Cars come with a standard two-year warranty valid throughout the EU, which can be extended for up to five years.

There’s something for everyone at Auto Průhonice, with the special price offer applying to all available Volvo models except for its purely electric vehicles. As is the case for all car sales at the dealership, staff will work with customers on the exact configuration and equipment needed for each car.

As expats in the Czech Republic know, there are many benefits to working abroad. But it’s not often that being a foreign worker brings such a direct advantage. In expanding its special foreigners’ offer to all expats working in the Czech Republic, the Auto Průhonice dealership is set to become a mecca for those looking for great value car deals.
