After the success of their 2014 Karpfenkalendar, which has been described by one Amazon.de reviewer as “Eine der schönsten Erotik-Fisch-Kalender, die ich je gesehen habe” (“One of the most beautiful Erotic Fish Calendars I have ever seen”), German carp specialist Carponizer has released their 2015 calendar to widespreadinternetbuzz.

Of course, Czechs have a special relationship with carp, too. Especially during the holiday season. What better Christmas gift for your father-in-law or that special man in your life than this celebration of carp and scantily-clad women?

Hendrik Pöhler, who created the calendar, was inspired by the idea to “combine his favorite hobby with beautiful women.” The photos in the calendar, which feature women seductively posing with carp, were shot by a French photographer in Pöhler’s home pond, according to an interview with Bild.de.

According to the same interview, the carp were regularly moistened while shooting to cause them as little stress as possible.

Carponizer, surprisingly, doesn’t have the market on erotic carp calendars cornered this year. UK company Total Fishing Gear has released their own calendar featuring women and carp, “Fishing Babes 2015”. From the cover: “Beautiful Women with Monster Carp – Every Fisherman’s Dream.”
