If you happen to hear to some upbeat tunes while riding through Prague’s metro this Thursday, feel free to make a quick stop and enjoy the seasonal cheer.

Or take a tour of some of central Prague’s metro stops on the B and C lines, where a variety of seasonal acts will be performing as part of DPP’s seasonal Christmas concerts event on December 15.

Six different metro stops will be taking part in the celebrations, which will feature live bands entertaining public transport passengers throughout subway stations.

On the C line, Florenc, Hlavní nádraží, Muzeum, and Vltavská will be joining the festivities.

On the B line, Můstek has a full program prepared from 13:00 to 20:00, while Palmovka will host a single concert at 16:00.

Performers participating at various stations include Filip Zangi & PURPUR, Jan Smigmator & the Swinging Trio, the Maranatha Gospel Choir, and the local Yamaha Music School. A special piano competition will take place at Hlavní nádraží from 17:00.

A full schedule of performances and showtimes can be found on DPP’s official website.

Be sure not to miss the best singers from Prague’s public transport company: the official DPP Choir will be performing at Vltavská  from 18:00 and Muzeum from 19:00.
