Distressed jeans, graphic tees, or studded chokers, anyone? American fashion brand Forever 21 will open its first store in the Czech Republic this fall, reports Aktualne.cz.
The first branch, with a sales area of approximately 1,300 meters, will open in the Prague Černý Most Shopping Center this autumn.
Forever 21 will join other fashion retailers such as H&M, Zara, and Topshop, which specialize in so-called fast fashion, where trends are ripped from the catwalk as quickly as possible and sold at affordable prices.
Founded in Los Angeles in 1984, Forever 21 is one of the largest specialized retailers in the United States. It currently operates more than 730 stores in 48 countries.
Besides the Czech Republic, the company plans to expand to four other European countries (Slovakia, Poland, Romania, and Portugal) by the end of this year.
