Father's Day, June 19th

It is never too late to truly appreciate your parents and show them some respect. Despite the rather large amount of holidays which we celebrate here as well as the new holidays that are making their way into our lives, we still do not appreciate our parents enough. Fortunately, Father´s Day as a holiday is gaining momentum and eventually, more and more of us will not miss the opportunity to thank our fathers for the care and love they have given us throughout our lives.

Pilsner Urquell places considerable emphasis on traditional values and therefore Father´s Day is perceived by the company as a unique opportunity to express that, which is often omitted throughout our daily lives. It is sometimes hard to truly appreciate young and active fathers, even more so aging fathers, whose care is no longer perceived as being so important. However, it is precisely them, who deserve our careful attention.

The Pilsner Urquell premium brand is well known as a traditional and popular drink for men, making it an ideal drink for the Father´s Day. What better way to celebrate this special day than with the “forefather” of the entire category of Pilsner-type beers, which now account for approximately 70% of all beers worldwide?

To commemorate Father´s Day on June 19th, Plzeňský Prazdroj has prepared a limited edition production of its Pilsner Urquell lager in retro style. The archaic design of the one-liter bottles along with the sticker strongly correspond with the style characteristic of the first half of the 20th century. The bottles will have a ceramic cap and will come in a presentation case, making it an ideal present for our fathers. Do not forget to leave a couple of words of praise with it as well.

Even better, if adult sons/daughters invite their fathers for a talk in the pub, Plzeňský Prazdroj has arranged a nice surprise for them too. In 400 selected pubs, the first 100 beers on tap will be served for free. It is the wish of many supporters and loving children that Father´s Day would become even more popular and spread across the world in a dynamic and passionate way, just like Pilsner Urquell has done from the beginning of its existence.
