Earlier this year, Prague’s city maintenance company Pražské služby (Prague Services) gained some viral fame with a photo of its workers crossing a Žižkov street in a composition that seemed to ape the cover of The Beatles’ Abbey Road.
The Abbey Road photo was allegedly a ‘spontaneous’ shot, but a series of subsequent photos aping iconic pictures have been staged to take advantage of the online acclaim.
In their latest pic, which even drew words of praise from Prague mayor Zdeněk Hřib on Instagram, Pražské služby workers can be seen hoisting a street sign in the manner of US soldiers raising the American flag on Iwo Jima (seen above).
