The Czech Republic, led by 43-year-old star Jaromír Jágr, will face off against Canada tomorrow in Prague at the IIHF Hockey World Championships semi-final game. The puck will drop at 15:15.
Canada is currently undefeated in the tournament, and topped the Czech Republic 6-3 when the teams last faced each other on May 4.
If the Czech Republic wins, they will move on to compete in the Gold Medal Game on Sunday against the winner of the USA vs. Russia semi-final.
While scalped tickets to the sold-out game at Prague’s O2 Arena will set you back upwards of 10,000 CZK apiece, you can see the game with thousands of local fans on the big screen at Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, or the venue or your choice. If you’re in Prague, it will be difficult not to catch the game.
Let’s just hope this match between the Czechs and Canada doesn’t turn into another brawl like this infamous match from 1997:
