One of the Czech Republic’s best known bass players, Robert Balzar, is back with a new CD. Released a couple of months back, Discover Who We Are features the shimmering yet warm sounds of Balzar (bass), Jiří Slavíček (drums) and new-comer Jiří Levíček on piano. The album was recorded in New York with James Farber, who has previously worked with the likes of Pat Methaney and Chick Corea.
