Music Club U Svatého Tomáše at Augustine Hotel

Augustine Hotel part of The Rocco Forte Collection is introducing a new music concept starting on Friday 8 April 2011 called the “Music Club U Svatého Tomáše” with ambition to become well-known “hotspot” in the active live music circuit of Prague. By offering a fresh and curious line-up of trendy bands and musical performances, with a strong influence from the Jazz music genre, this Music Club is the place to be visited not only by tourists but mainly by locals. Well known-artists will be featured alongside several young, up-and-coming talents from Prague´s most prestigious music schools.

Friday 8 April – PAVEL ŠVESTKA TRIO
Repertoir comprises well known jazz and swing standards from the Golden Swing era. Pleasant melodies with a retro soul from the 30‘s.

Saturday 9 April – DAVID DORůŽKA TRIO
Featuring an impressive playlist of Modern Jazz and original compositions.

Friday 15 April – MULATA B
A Brazilian band promising to shake up the audience with the contagious drive of percussionist Flavia Torga, the voice, charisma and swing of Thyago Ferreira (guitar and cavaquinho), accompanied by the talent and amazing Sax melodies of Alexei Bondarev and other invited musicians.
Saturday 16 April- KRIO JAZZ
