The Čestlice store will be the fifth IKEA store in the Czech Republic.

The real estate developers behind the project told the publication that: “Infrastructure development has already begun, its completion is planned for the first half of next year.”

Completion of the entire trade zone is planned for the year 2018-2019.

In other IKEA news, the Czech IKEA e-shop launched in May 2016, but is still operating in a limited form, only offering a pay on-line option for pick-up in Zličín. According to an IKEA Czech rep, this service is slated to be in place in all stores come summer.
