Open Day at German School Prague

The German School Prague offers an Open Day on the 13th of January 2011 from 10 am to 5 pm. The School offers guided tours through its building, trial lessons and counseling sessions. Interested students have the chance to take part in German Lessons or get in touch with computer science. Parents can talk to school administration and parents‘ council. The German School Prague, benefited and approved by Federal Republic of Germany and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (MŠMT), is a bilingual German-Czech-grammar school since 2001.

Germany’s Central Office for German Schools Abroad (ZfA) provides German Schools systematically in implementation of development worldwide controlled by his pedagogical quality management. The aim is to get the cachet “Excellent German School Abroad” (“Exzellente Deutsche Auslandsschule”).

The School is divided into:
·    Nursery school
·    Primary school
·    Secondary school
·    Bilingual German-Czech secondary school

Conditions of admission:

Premise for admission is to command the German language so that it is possible to take part in class effectively.
Czech students have the possibility to attend a one-year language course in school before they do the entrance exam.

Level of graduation (All German levels of graduation are offered):
·    Secondary modern school qualification
·    Middle School
·    School leaving exam (in the 12th class –  German exam)
·    School leaving exam (in the 13th class –  Czech exam)
