Among the key activities of Pilsner Urquell is the connection with golf. At the highest level of golf events, Pilsner Urquell is a partner of The Open Championship. Pilsner Urquell associated with the event since 2009 and has a contract for cooperation until 2013. It is one of the most important golf tournaments within Czech Republic, and can be compared to Wimbledon tennis final and the Champions League in football. It is an honor for us that there was a merger of two legends. Format of the tournament
The tournament is for amateurs and played according to the rules of the Czech Golf Federation. Played in the following competitions:

Main Competition

Stroke Play with a deduction of the playing handicap of each player. We play the presentation in the categories of HCP HCP +3 to 36 Handicap limit 36, ie. The player with the HCP as 48 will be counted as the result of playing with HCP 36th. This method offers a wide group of players a beter chance for the grand prize – an exclusive trip to the Open Championship 2011.

Other competitions:
Competition in the category of individual men and women played on the Stableford points total “net”

Additional competition:
“Hole in One” – the winner is the first player who achieves Hole – in-one common category for both men and women.
