Prague among world’s most romantic destinations, says TripAdvisor

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Travel website has included the Czech capital among their list of the world’s 50 most romantic destinations

In search of that perfect romantic destination for Valentine’s Day?

If you live in Prague, you don’t have to go too far: popular travel website TripAdvisor has included the Czech capital among their 2019 list of the world’s most romantic destinations.

Prague is one of only a handful of European destinations on the list, and the only location in Central Europe.

Bath, Bruges, and Paris (of course) also represented Europe on TripAdvisor’s list of most romantic destinations, as well as Dubrovnik in Croatia, three locales on the Greek island of Santorini, and four cities in Italy (Venice, Verona, Sorrento, and Positano).

Few, however, can replicate the feel of a stroll through Prague’s centuries-old streets and romantic locales that include Charles Bridge, Petřín Hill, Letná Park, and the steps of Malá Strana leading up to Prague Castle.

Last year, iconic Prague locations including the Statue of St. Wenceslas, Náměstí Republiky, and Náplavka/Rašínovo nábřeží were voted in a local poll as the most popular places to meet a date.
