The annual Prague Harley Days, part of the All American Fest, is taking place at Prague's Výstaviště Exhibition Grounds this weekend, and festivities include a parade through the Czech capital's city center on Saturday morning. Drivers can expect short-term road closures, while spectators will be able to watch hundreds of classic motorcycles proceed through Prague.

This parade is scheduled to commence at 10:30 a.m. from Výstaviště, with the route running from Holešovice through Old Town, New Town, Nusle, and Vinohrady before heading back to the Exhibition Grounds. Approximately 800 Harley-Davidson motorcycles are expected to participate in the parade.

Key streets on the route include Za elektrárnou, Bubenská, Hlávkův most, Wilsonova, Nuselský most, and several others in Prague 1, 2, 4, 7, and 8. The motorcycles will navigate through major thoroughfares and landmarks including Rašínovo nábřeží, Masarykovo nábřeží, and Smetanovo nábřeží.

The procession is anticipated to conclude back at Výstaviště Praha Holešovice around 12:00 p.m. Due to the parade, temporary road closures will be in effect along the route. These closures are expected to be brief, with minimal disruptions to public transportation, which should not exceed five minutes at any location.

Prague Municipal Police and traffic authorities will oversee the event to ensure safety and manage traffic flow.

Prague Harley Days is part of the larger All American Fest, which runs from August 30 to September 1. The festival celebrates Harley-Davidson motorcycles and American culture, and features additional events such as the FMX Gladiator Games Open Air, showcasing freestyle motocross performances, and the Smoke & Fire Food Fest, which offers American-style barbecue and other culinary experiences.

Another highlight of the festival is the European Festival Route 66, which includes an exhibition dedicated to the iconic American Route 66. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in various activities related to American culture, including free rides and food samples.

Last year, notable attendees at Prague Harley Days included Czech President Petr Pavel, himself a noted motorcycle enthusiast. Pavel suffered minor injuries after a motorcycle accident earlier this year, but was released from hospital after a night of observation.

One-day tickets to All American Fest run CZK 500, and can be purchased online. Prague 7 residents have free access to the event, but must show valid identification with their address at the entrance.
