UK-based finance comparison website Money Guru has released a new ranking on how much beer £4 will get you around the world.

The site compared the average cost of a UK pint measure (568ml) in bars and pubs across 32 destinations as of April 2018.

The data reveals that in the Czech capital £4 gives you almost three and a half pints, making it the world’s top city for getting the most beer for the least money followed by Johannesburg, Taipei, Krakow, and Rio de Janeiro.

The cost of a pint in Prague was calculated at £1.17 (34 CZK).

Numbers were sourced from Expatistan and Beerandpub.com to achieve the foamy finalists for cheapest beer in the world.

Dubai, Oslo, Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York, rounded out the top five, respectively, for the priciest pour on the planet.

Money Guru says the study was motivated by the rising cost of beer in Britain with drinks giants Molson Coors and AB InBev both confirmed their beer prices increase due to pressure and uncertainty in the UK economy in the face of Brexit.
