The Czech Republic has a thing for miniatures: Ostrava has its Miniuni featuring diminutive renderings of landmarks from both home (the Astronomical Clock in Prague) and abroad (Big Ben) while the Museum of Miniatures in Strahov takes things to a whole new level with its collection of micro-miniatures which ranks among the most impressive in the world.

If that simply isn’t enough mini-mania for you, you’ll want to head to Mariánské Lázně where an entire park has devoted itself to creating replicas of Czech castles and other monuments nestled among its 5.5-hectare grounds.

Open since the early 2000s, Boheminium Park recently expanded its offerings, reaching 65 models in total, all of them exclusively devoted to Czech monuments and feats of engineering, from Karlštejn Castle to Ješted Tower.

The models are assembled by a diverse group of skilled crafstmen that includes inmates from the neighboring prison of Slavkov who creates components for the intricate replicas.

The photos seen here are just a fraction of the Czech mini monuments on view at Boheminium Park.
