Since we wrote this article featuring 8 essential podcasts for people who love Prague and the Czech Republic, even more have sprung up, including a series devoted to life in Prague under lockdown as well as the Prague Times podcast by Expats.cz contributor Derek Dewitt. The excellent podcast Strong Sense of Place isn't exclusive to Prague but it's inaugural episode features the Czech capital.

Česká filmová klasika, the YouTube channel of the National Film Archive streams a number of Czech films for free. While not all of them are English friendly, several have subtitles including Bila Nemoc, Krakatit, and Vražda ing. Čerta, and Panna a Netvor.

The Czech version of Netflix vastly improved their localization earlier this year, with more than a hundred new and classic Czech films (with English subtitles) joining the streaming platform along with new Czech audio and subtitle tracks for other movies and shows.

Moje Kino Live, Edison Online, and Aerovod's catalog lets you support Prague cinemas from home. This bank of 1,150 Free Movies Online: Great Classics, Indies, Noir, Westerns, etc. includes some Czech gems. The Emmy-nominated Marty is Dead can be streamed with English subtitles on Mall.TV.
