From now through the end of September, you may notice some unusual sculptures throughout Prague.
They’re part of the festival Sculpture Line, which has installed the exhibits at sixteen locations throughout the city, including Václav Havel Airport, Prague Zoo, the Vltava river at Manes, and elsewhere.
The sixteen sculptures come from of the biggest names in the local contemporary art scene, including Michal Trpák, Čestmír Suška, and Michal Gabriel.
Emnation, a nine-foot bronze statue of Buddha in the lotus position, was crafted by English sculptor Sukhi Barber. It can be seen between Terminals 1 and 2 at the Václav Havel Airport.
