Two Centuries of Czech Portrait Painting December 18, Prague Castle Imperial Stables Read more May 2020 commemorates what would have been the 200th birthday of Josef Mánes, the godfather of Czech modern portraiture. The exhibit include the work of Mánes‘ followers among them Jindřich Štýrský, Toyen, and Adolf Hoffmeister. Selected artworks created in the 1940s and 1960s and contemporary portraits will also be displayed.
Migrant Fest December 18, Campus Hybernská Read more A celebration to mark the International Day of Migrants will showcase the creativity of migrants living in the Czech Republic, including photographers, designers, and performers. Twenty-five films from 17 countries encompass narrative and documentary features, short narrative films, first-time features, and documentary shorts from filmmakers as young as 15 through age 35.
