The Tap Tap band is planning another evening show on Friday 29 April, 2011 called the Party on Wheels. Come along and dance in Archa theatre at 8 p.m. This is a traditional benefit concert of The Tap Tap, students´ and graduates´ band of the Prague Jedlička Institute and Schools. During the concert presenting many interesting guests handicapped musicians will perform a rhythmic warming that will keep noone still. And as any good party this one will be mainly about a good entertainment.

Each year there is a rich entertaining program. Šimon Ornest The Tap Tap band leader comments: „Surely the major hit and attraction of the 9th annual Party on Wheels will be the world premiere of the song called “Bus driver” that was written for us by Xindl X.“. In the main role of the clip you will see, apart from Xindla X, also the band drummer Marek Valenta whose story the song is actually based on, Vojta Dyk and Dan Bárta. The Tap Tap drummer Marek Valenta is of a short height, therefore it is difficult for him to overcome longer distances on his own. His compensation aid that is helping him cope with his handicap is a specially equipped small bike. In past some bus drivers refused to take his bike on and give him a ride. And that is the issue the video clip of the song is jokily targeting.

Vojta Dyk and Xindl X will both personally attend this year´s Party on Wheels. A number of other guests include a singer, Kamil Střihavka, jazz guitarist and a music composer Luboš Andršt or an actor and a singer, Jiří Ornest. Of course there will be more guests and other unexpected jokes; you will find more information on www.facebook.com/TheTapTap. The whole evening will be moderated by a witty speaker of the band Láďa Angelovič and Iva Pazderková, probably the most famous blond in the Czech Republic.

The profits of the benefit event will be used for purchase of equipment of the educational centre STUDEO. The centre offers mostly extra curriculum education to people with a physical handicap aiming at increasing their chances in job market realisation.

Auspices of the whole event are held by the following: minister of culture, Jiří Besser, the major of Prague city, Bohuslav Svoboda and the major of Prague 1, Oldřich Lomecký.

The Tap Tap band was founded in 1998 by Šimon Ornest who is also the current band-master. On Saturday mostly handicapped students of the Jedlička Institute will be playing. The band cooperates with well known artists, for example Dan Bárta, David Koller, Matěj Ruppert, Vojta Dyk, Xindl X and Tomáš Hanák. By now The Tap Tap issued albums Hopšidyridy (2006) and Party on Wheels (2010).

The ticket price on spot and in advance-sale is 290 CZK and 240 CZK for students.
