Kiev, Augst 5 (CTK) — Ukraine has listed the Czech Republic and Slovakia in its “red zone” as well as more than 120 additional countries whose coronavirus situation has been deemed unfavorable, the Ukrainian server Korrespondent.net writes today.

Upon arrival to Ukraine, it is necessary for travelers from those countries to present a negative coronavirus test or enter quarantine, the Ukrainian paper writes.

The list will be updated every week.

The Ukrainian “green zone” includes Sweden, Portugal, Croatia, Belarus, Britain, Turkey, Slovenia, Egypt, and Italy.

The “red zone” lists such countries as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, China, Hungary, Georgia, Germany, Bulgaria, Albania, Montenegro, Poland, France and Russia, Korrespondent.net said.

Ukraine places on its red list the countries in which the new number of coronavirus cases per 100,000 population was higher than the analogous Ukrainian figure of the infected over the past 14 days or if the increase during the past 14 days is 30 percent greater than the analogous figures over the previous 14 days.

Ukraine has 33 infected per 100,000 population. The Czech Republic cites 24.6 cases per 100,000 population, but there has been an 83-percent recent increase.

In Slovakia, the figures are 5.8 cases and 32.5 percent, respectively.
