Winter seems to be hanging on by the skin of its teeth, as the threat of snow slowly fades and spring shows its beginnings. This month sees Easter-based culinary celebrations, synthpop bands, and world class DJs all in crammed into the next 30 days!
2 – Loud Noises: The Peach Pit opens its doors to the Loud Noises guys. An evening of indie rock/electro pop/garage/punk/new wave disco. Free entry!
3 – Foreign Beggars: London’s young go-getters are back at it, fusing hip hop, grime, and dubstep. The Beggars Uprising Euroepan Tour lands in Prague for what promises to be a exciting show. A must!
3 – Raging Fyah: One of the biggest newcomers in the reggae scene last year was without doubt the Jamaican band Raging Fyah! With that fact in mind, it’s only right that they play Prague’s Lucerna Music Bar. Good vibes & reggae harmonies! Check their video here.
6 – Sasha: It’s been 11 long years since the world class Welsh DJ & producer blessed the Czech Republic with a performance. Finally, the wait is over! Prepare your dancing shoes! DJs: Biodan (House Elements/Roxy), Roman Rai (Flow/Roxy) & Tomics (Bluesound), Nu:Disco chill out: Cubik & Face.
6 – The Soft Moon: The San Francisco based, neo-post-punk band hit Meetfactory. The band put on a truly sensory experience, performing post-punk/noise rock. Check their video here.
13 – Lana Del Ray: Electronic Beats present an evening of music from American super star Lana Del Rey, at Prague’s Divadlo Archa for the first time. She’ll be joined by Swedish singer Karin Park and the synth pop sounds of Roosevelt. This event has already sold out, but tickets can be won through the Electronic Beats website.
26 – Skream: The king of dubstep (& Croydon) makes a rare appearance in Prague to spin some of his trademark bass and wobbles. Roxy will be busy so be sure to get your tickets in advance for this event to avoid disappointment! Check their video here.

4-9 – Aero’s 15th birthday – Screenings of movies such as Big Lebowski, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas as well as a concert of Anna von Hausswolff. Celebrate the whole week with Kino Aero!
7-8 – Cirkopolis vol.1: A new circus evening with an international cast. A progressive and interesting performance showcasing the new development of European circus art. All the fun of the circus!
8-14: Shooting Fashion Stars: Celebrating the new generation of fashion designers. A unique fashion show in a unique location. The neo-classical hall of Masaryk Railway Station hosts this exciting event.
12 -13 – Holešovice Fashion Market: The fifth installment of the independent Holešovice Fashion Market brought to you by PlazmaLab & Lovemu! Great event not to be missed!
