Win/Win Recap

The Win/Win Fundraising Auction, organized and run by Jana Kolarikova and her team (Lucie Felixova, Sarka  Pospisilova, Eva Kuchtova, and Lenka Mazochova) took place on April 17th, 2010 at Jet Set City Centre. The aim of the event was not only to raise funds but also to create awareness of Teen Challenge Children and Youth Center, a non-profit organization that dedicates their time and passion to at-risk children here in Prague. All proceeds go towards the reconstruction of their new building that will help them to expand and offer services to more children.

Expats.cz were primary supporters, and donated a ½ page of advertising in our Survival Guide & Business Directory (worth 45 000 Kc), plus some media exposure of the event.  The ad spot was auctioned for 11,200 Kc.  Other big prizes were:  an MBA course from Tiffin University (9 000 Kc), and a 16GB iPad – which managed to raise 17 000 Kc. The total amount collected from the night was 76 500Kc.

RUN or WALK………whatever your choice is, make it the good deed of 2010.

13.00 – RUN FOR HOUSE – distance – 2.4km or 3.6km filled with challenges

14.30 – WALK FOR HOUSE – distance – 1.2km (family walk, strollers are welcome)

13.00 – 16.00 – Afternoon filled with fun and activities for little ones with yummy prizes

16.00 – Official handover of your donations to Teen Challenge Youth Center
