I'm an American novelist, proofreader, and storytelling expert who helps Czech writers express their words eloquently and tell their stories powerfully. I have a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing (University of Montana, 2009) and a Bachelor’s Degree in English (University of Texas, 2006). I’ve also published 3 books (most recently with New York City publisher Black Lawrence Press) and am represented by Transatlantic Literary Agency.

For the last 16 years, I’ve worked as a freelance editor for international publishers like Penguin Random House, and for the last 8 years I've worked for Czech publishers like Albatros and Karolinum. Other local clients include Prague Castle, the Czech Senate, and various academics and journals at Charles University, Czech Technical University, Czech Academy of Sciences, Masaryk University, and University of South Bohemia.
