About Us

The Duhovka Middle School offers Czech - English education based learning in context with an emphasis on social skills, individual attention, hands-on experience and a prepared environment. The entire middle school is designed as preparation for transition to any high school. The program is academically strong but also prepares children for life. 

What You’ll Do

• Create an engaging, supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and critical thinking.

• Supporting students aged 11 - 15 years in their learning, developing their English language skills as well as their learning, social, and communication competencies.

• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

• Participating on designing and implementing curriculum for English Language and Natural Sciences following Montessori principles.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and assistants to create cross-curricular learning opportunities.

• Actively participating in events, activities, trips, etc. organized by school.

What We’re Looking For

• English at a native speaker level

• Proven experience in teaching English at school

• Bachelor’s degree

• Interest in alternative learning styles

• Willingness for long-term cooperation
