The European Commission seeks to enhance IT services and drive digital transformation across Europe. This project aims to subcontract IT professionals in hybrid mode (near-site or on-site) to provide services to various Directorate-Generals (DGs) of the European Commission and other European agencies.

The project covers a wide range of IT services, including development and support, testing and quality assurance, operations, data-related services, security, interoperability, e-Government services, and digital business solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop both front-end and back-end website architecture
  • Design user interactions on web pages
  • Develop back-end website applications
  • Develop cloud-native applications
  • Develop automated tests and manage test data
  • Create servers and databases
  • Implement IT security and data protection
  • Design responsive applications
  • Design and develop APIs
  • Write clean, functional code for both front- and back-end
  • Troubleshoot and improve data, processes, and codes
  • Write release notes, technical specifications, and other documentation
  • Perform one-off data migrations

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Technical Requirements:
    • At least 4 years of experience with HTML, CSS
    • At least 4 years of experience with Angular 2+
    • At least 4 years of experience with JavaEE
    • At least 3 years of experience with Spring, JPA, or Hibernate
    • At least 3 years of experience with SQL
    • At least 1 year of experience with REST
  • Other Requirements:
    • EU Citizen
    • Willingness to relocate to Brussels, Belgium
    • Minimum education level: Bachelor's degree
    • Preferably self-employed (OSVČ)
    • Availability: by agreement
