The Materials Scheduling Expert ensures that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and safety stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity. Able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements. Maintains strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure supply of materials meets requirements. Continually work on improvements on Material Planning processes and KPIs (Safety stocks, OOR, Core Working Capital, Service Level, DCBL, NST, OTIF). Minimize material obsoletes through correct changeover process management
What will you be doing:
Provide an accurate visibility of material needs to suppliers, taking into consideration possible changeovers (RFS inputs)
Place the orders to suppliers according to the production schedule on the breweries
Communication with suppliers, procurement, zone technical department (ZTD) etc. to ensure materials availability
In case of material shortages escalate issues to Zone Material Planning managers and Procurement
Follow up and alignment on brewery stocks, upload and maintenance of data in SAP/On-time on a daily basis
Monitoring supplier delivery performance KPIs and work on their improvement in cooperation with supplier and procurement team
Tracking and controlling of packaging and raw materials change overs, communication to all involved departments. In case of obsoletes defining of responsible function and material scrapping organization.
Help to define and implement team strategy & tool implementation
Constant search for opportunities in the existing process, their definition and implementation
What you'll bring:
Fluency (C1) in English AND C1 German
1+ year of experience working in Logistics or Supply Chain is an advantage
Analytical and creative problem solving mindset
Experience with process improvement is an advantage
Intermediate MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Building Formulas)
Knowledge of SAP and WMS is an advantage, but not required
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
