About the Role

Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist (P1) to support their HR and payroll operations. The role involves analyzing employee files, calculating severance pay in accordance with a redundancy plan, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing. You will work closely with HR, labor relations managers, and subcontracting companies to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.

The main office is located inFrance, but the location can be flexible within the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and validate payroll data from HR teams and managers.

  • Ensure payroll transactions comply with internal policies and labor regulations.

  • Support Time Managers in payroll-related processes and train them on system tools.

  • Collaborate with subcontractors to resolve payroll discrepancies.

  • Monitor and update payroll procedures and critical data checks.

  • Assist in implementing new payroll systems or upgrades.

  • Provide support to employees on payroll and benefits-related inquiries.

  • Manage local payroll-related projects and ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education & Experience: Bac +2 with 2–3 years of experience in payroll administration.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of payroll techniques, employment law, and HR systems.

  • IT Proficiency: Experience with payroll and time management software.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage payroll projects and train users on payroll systems.

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to resolve payroll issues efficiently.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Teamwork & Organization: Ability to work independently while collaborating with HR and finance teams.
