Are you passionate about ensuring smooth payroll operations and compliance in a dynamic international environment? Our client, a global leader in healthcare and innovation, is looking for an Associate Payroll Specialist to join their team supporting the EMEA region, mainly Switzerland.
What You'll Do
As a Payroll Specialist, you'll play a key role in:
Processing accurate and timely payroll for multiple entities in compliance with local regulations.
Managing payroll controls for audits and approvals for bank payments.
Coordinating with Global Mobility for expats and commuters.
Addressing payroll inquiries, including social insurance and taxation.
Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to optimize processes and reduce complexity.
Contributing to continuous improvement projects and documenting payroll systems.
Staying updated on payroll trends and best practices.
What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Familiarity with outsourced payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Celergo) and HR systems like Workday or SAP.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills with fluency in English and atleast B1 German (big plus).
A proactive approach, personal integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience in a multinational business environment, with focus on Switzerland Payroll for multiple entities. Experience in HR is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work in (international) teams and collaborate / partner effectively at all levels across the organization.
