We are a bilingual school full of joy, discovery, hands-on learning, and inspiration. We are the world's largest network of schools built on the Canadian educational curriculum and methods. Canadian standards are adapted to the Czech education system.
In 2024, we opened the first Maple Bear school in Czechia. We are growing, and that's why we are looking for primary school teachers. We seek bold, passionate, and creative educators—those ready not only to teach children but also to develop themselves.
We teach in tandem (a Czech-speaking and an English-speaking teacher) in beautiful, modern school at the Kavčí Hory Office Park.
You will be teaching a first-grade class—children who are curious, full of energy, and excited for every new adventure.
Your task will be to prepare engaging and fun activities that help students master the curriculum according to Czech educational standards while introducing them to the Maple Bear approach.
A key focus will be to spark their enthusiasm for discovery and learning—both in Czech and English. Some subjects are taught in Czech, while others are delivered directly in English.
You won’t be alone! Most of the time, you will work in tandem with a colleague responsible for the Czech curriculum, allowing for mutual support and inspiration.

Plan and deliver lessons that blend the best of Czech and Canadian educational approaches—ensuring learning is engaging and enjoyable.
Create a warm and safe classroom environment where children establish routines and classroom rules together.
Track student progress and find ways to support their growth further.
Help children discover their strengths and skills, allowing them to reach their full potential.
Keep records of students’ achievements and regularly share this information with parents to involve them in their child's progress.
Explain to parents how our program works and maintain ongoing communication with them.

A degree in education (preferably for primary school teaching)—fresh graduates are welcome, and we’ll support you at the start.
TEFL exam is NOT relevant.
A desire to keep learning, growing, and trying new things.
