***Technical Manager – Web Platform Solutions***

Are you ready to lead and optimize the technical operations of a cutting-edge web platform? As the Technical Manager – Web Platform Solutions, you will take charge of the platform’s performance, oversee its Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and lead a small, high-performing team. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who excels at balancing strategic management with technical oversight.


Core Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of 2 direct reports, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.

  • Act as a central point of collaboration between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve aligned objectives.

Platform Operations:

  • Ensure the web platform operates reliably, securely, and efficiently.

  • Conduct regular health checks and audits to maintain optimal performance and address any issues proactively.

  • Oversee relationships with infrastructure suppliers, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.

Development and Workflow Optimization:

  • Define and manage workflows for software development and delivery, focusing on CI/CD pipelines.

  • Establish best practices for version control, automation, and unit testing to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Guide implementation partners on strategies for software roll-out and migration.

Incident and Problem Resolution:

  • Address major platform incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to resolve complex issues effectively.

Integration and Release Management:

  • Manage the integration of the web platform with other systems to ensure seamless operation.

  • Oversee the release process to ensure secure, efficient, and smooth deployments.

  • Implement and advocate for DevSecOps practices that align security with development and deployment processes.


What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in management, including team leadership and vendor coordination.

  • Strong technical background with expertise in tools such as Adobe, Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins, and Docker.

  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and present data effectively.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently to solve complex challenges.

  • Familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies for efficient workflow management.

  • Excellent communication skills to present ideas clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
