Translator Analyst with Finnish

This will be your future team

We are seeking a new member to join a team of four dedicated Finnish translators. Our team is independent but supportive and management takes place on the ground level. While we may not be the most talkative bunch, we are always willing to support our colleagues when it is required, and cooperation is necessary in organizing our daily work. You are free to work remotely or from the office, as we are running in the hybrid model.

This will be your future role:

• You will be providing translations of documents, materials, and requests related to financial services and banking technology.

• The purpose of our team is also to act as a liaison between countries, clearing language barriers and facilitating the smooth exchange of information and meaning.

• In addition to providing translations, performing quality checks and assessing the work done by your colleagues is a standard part of our process.

If you have the following, you are ready to join us:

• You have native knowledge of Finnish and advanced knowledge of English

• You have at least a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree in any field, but preferably in languages or translation

• You enjoy translating and you already have at least some experience with English Finnish and Finnish English translation

• You are precise, independent, and adaptable to learn new things and terms

• You are also organized, able to prioritize your own work, and proactive in picking up new tasks to ensure that our overall workflow remains smooth and that agreed deadlines are met.

• While you do not need to have a background in banking or IT, having some basic understanding of these fields will be helpful.
