Anyone growing up in the US over the past five decades is likely familiar with the Slip ‘N Slide, the Wham-O-produced outdoor water slide that plugged into a garden hose and led to all sort of fun and injury.

But maybe you’ve wondered how much fun could be had if the slide was hundreds of meters long, instead of a dozen. And what if it was laid out through the streets of a large city?

Well, the good folks at Slide the City have made that dream come true, laying out hundreds of meters of water slides through dozens of major cities across the US and Canada, promoted by this impressive video:

And now, a similar concept is coming to the Czech Republic: Slide Czech is preparing a 310-meter-long rubber track for the summer 2016 season, with plans on touring a variety of locations throughout the Czech Republic.

So far, dates have been confirmed for Liberec (July 16), Karlovy Vary (July 23), and Most (August 13).

According to the official website, the company is also hoping to bring the slide to Prague, Brno, Znojmo, and Zlín.

The inaugural Slide Czech event was held in Vlašim over the weekend; photo and video can be found on the Slide Czech Facebook page:
