The biggest fair for professionals and 3D printing is taking place at PVA Expo in Prague’s Letňany district until April 27.

Manufacturers of 3D printers, 3D scanners, filaments, and other accessories for 3D printing will be presented on 1,000 square meters. The exhibition and the accompanying program are intended not only for professional printers but also for 3D printing enthusiasts.

Participants can learn about the latest trends in 3D printing. This year's edition will again feature expert lectures.

People can register online for a free ticket to the expo, but tickets at the door cost CZK 180. Admission to the accompanying conference is CZK 330. Discounts are available for students and seniors. Full details are on the expo website and Facebook.

Goal is to popularize the medium

Petr Bláha, one of the founders of 3D Arena, the non-profit organization that organizes 3Dexpo, said that since the first fair in 2014 they have been trying to build bridges between professionals and domestic 3D printing enthusiasts.

"Our main mission is to popularize additive manufacturing. We organize the exhibition for everyone who is interested in 3D printing. Not only professional printers, but also artists, architects, designers, sculptors, marketers, and enthusiasts of DIY 3D printing will find what they want at the exhibition," Bláha said.

"We are also preparing an accompanying program and we hope that this year will also see the release of the popular '3D printer duel,' which was very popular in previous years before covid, and its atmosphere was not unlike a sports match," Bláha added.

FEATURED EMPLOYERS

With a ticket to 3Dexpo, participants also get free entry to the concurrent Advertising, Printing, Packaging and Innovative Technologies trade fair, which is taking place at PVA EXPO.

The organizer of the fair is 3D Arena, whose main mission is to support 3D printing in the Czech Republic. For many years, the organization has been organizing not only 3Dexpo, but also other educational events where they connect professionals and enthusiasts of 3D printing in an effort to build a community of professional 3D printers and people interested in 3D printing.
