While Prague visitors can normally visit many of the areas at Prague Castle, some rooms are closed to the public throughout the year.

This Saturday, however, the Castle will open its traditionally closed doors as part of the special event Castle Open Day.

From 9:00 to 16:30 on April 23, visitors will be able to enter rooms usually closed to the public.

Areas of the Castle that will be open to the public on Saturday include the Spanish Hall, Rudolph Gallery, the southern wing of the New Palace, the Throne Room, the Brožík and Hapsburg salons, and other notable areas.

Special guided tours will be given through these areas throughout the day.

Entry to the event is free.

On nearby Loretánská street, the Hrzánský palác, which is also closed to the public throughout the year, will also be open for visitors.

More information is available at the official website of Prague Castle.
