2008 CORPORATE RELAY RACES

Dear sport friends!
Come and participate in the 3rd edition of the Corporate Half Marathon Relay on March 29 and the absolutely NEW event – Corporate Marathon Relay on May 11, both followed by AwardCeremony Party!

Corporate Half Marathon (Relay)
29. 3. 08
3 × 5,0 km + 1 × 6,097 km
Start:  Rudolfinum Concert Hall at 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
Finish:  Rudolfinum
Time limit: 3 hours
Entry fee: 5 500,- CZK per team (4 members)
Corporate Half Marathon + Corporate Marathon – 10 000 CZK per team. 

GALA EVENING
An award ceremony and gala will be held in the Hilton hotel during the week following the race to honor the fastest teams and individuals. Prizes and diplomas will be awarded. Nice cultural program, great food and lots of fun!

Exhibition tent in the center of Prague
Opening hours – Thursday March 27: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday March 28: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday March 29, the Race day, from 8 until 9 a.m. only to collect start numbers.

Corporate Marathon (Relay)

Start:   Staroměstské namesti Old Town Square at 9:00 a.m.
Finish:   Staroměstské namesti
Time limit: 6 hours (possibly 8)
Entry fee:  5 500,- CZK  (200 EUR) per team (4 members)
Registering together Corporate Half Marathon and Corporate Marathon – 10 000 CZK (360 EURO) per team.

MARATHON PARTY
May 11, 2008, 7 p.m.
Part of the program will be Corporate Marathon award ceremony. Fastest teams and individuals will get interesting prices and diplomas. There will be lots of fun, cultural program and delicious food and drinks.  

TRAINING PROGRAM
PIM prepared an interesting offer to all you who are registered to the PIM Corporate Program in 2008 and want to prepare to the races under guidance of experienced trainers and attend regular common running trainings. You can take part in our Virtual Running club! 

Virtual running club
If you are not from Prague and you are still interested to train under though control of our trainers, you can register to the Virtual Running Club. This club is held on-line on www.praguemarathon.com. Our trainers, based on the information that you provide them, will make you a special made to fit running program. We can shape your training schedule in such a way that you spend your training time efficiently and wisely.

Qualification
Corporate Half Marathon and Marathon are open to corporations, government and non-government organizations and agencies, private and state-owned corporations. Each organization is welcomed to register an unlimited number of teams consisting of four members (men, women, mixed) with at least 1 representative of the organization. Runners have to be 18 years old or more.

Corporate personalized team start numbers
Specifications of the logo located on the teams start numbers: The size of the logo located on the start numbers should not be larger than 10 x 7 cm (width x high), the graphics resolution not less than 300 dpi in the scale factor 1:1. You can send the logo files in data format: ai, eps, cdr, pdf, tiff or jpg. In one layer and CMYK color scheme.
Used text parts should be in graphics. 
Please send the data to corporate@pim.cz or on a CD to the PIM address.
Possibility of placing the logo is when registering one month before each race!

Companies and runners can register for the race in one of the following ways:

· Through PIM affiliated travel agencies abroad

The changeover points
The Changeover points will be located at three equidistant points (5 km, 10 km, 15 km / 10km, 20 km a 30 km). Last section will be evaluated separately. Transportation to 5/10 km 15/20 km and 30km will be provided by bus as well as from those points to finish. The runners should run in the order that they have put down on their entry form! The captain is the last runner of the race.

Time keeping
The race times will be read by a chip. Each member of the relay will get own chip that is part of the start number. Chips cannot be exchanged with other members of the team. The chips are property of the corporation Winning Time, which lends them out on a deposit of 400 CZK. The chips have to be returned immediately after the race in the technical area. 

The technical area
The technical area will be placed near the start. You can find refreshment and toilets there, also bag deposit, cloakroom, massages, and you will get back the chip deposit there (this part is approx 800 meters far from the start).
