Duo Brikcius consists of acclaimed Czech cellists and sister-and-brother Anna Brikciusová & František Brikcius. The 2 Cellos Tour will see the siblings perform lesser-known works of famous composers such as Luigi Boccherini, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gioacchino Rossini, and others.

Two Czech cellists, sister-and-brother, Anna Brikciusová and František Brikcius will appear at the BOSKOVICE 08 festival (17 July 2008, 7pm, Boskovice) with new programme “DUO BRIKCIUS – 2 CELLOS TOUR”. Featuring music written by Luigi Boccherini, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gioacchino Rossini, Paul Hindemith, Gideon Klein and Irena Kosikova. The “Duo Brikcius – 2 Cellos Tour” is prepared in the cooperation with Czech and international festivals, concert halls, synagogues and KPH to be presented in Czech republic (Praha, Brno, Chotěboř, Teplice, Lidice, Točník, Velké Březno, Veselí nad Moravou, Telč, Boskovice, Praha – Šeberov, Klatovy ), and abroad (Sweden, United Kingdom) under the auspices of the Councillor of the City of Prague Milan Richter and the Italian Culture Institute. Festival opening concert is going to be on 21st April 2008 in Prague (Staroměstské nám.) in the cooperation with the City Gallery Prague, then special concert in Brno (October 2008) and final concert is going to be held in Prague again (27th October 2008).
