The largest and first food festival of its kind in the Czech Republic introduces cuisine from Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Yemen, and more than 40 other countries.

Latin American restaurants and vendors from the Caribbean and Central and South Ameria will offer everything from exotic fruits and spices to original jewelry.

Alpine horns and a cow parade are the primary concern of this unusual event. But there will be cheese; make Swiss and sample Raclette.

Prague Coffee Festival – Oct 10-11/National Museum of Agricutlure

Held a month earlier this year, the annual Coffee Festival is an increasingly popular opportunity for coffee freaks and casual drinkers to explore the latest trends in java.

Bánh mì, pho, wonderfully sweet coffee; all are on the menu at this annual festival featuring Prague’s top Vietnamese eateries.

Pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup, quiche, tea, and jams by gold ribbon marmalade maker Blanka Milfaitová. (You can also visit the 10th annual Pumpkin Exhibit on through Oct 26).

Billing itself as the “first and biggest” market of “delicacies,” not much information was available about this festival at press time. Expect bigness. And firstness.
