Brownswood DJs at Bunkr Parukářka
Saturday 25.8

F.Y.E. club night comes to Prague

The Brownswood DJs are a loose collective of DJs from different clubs around the UK. The group formed in the 1990s, as part of the London nu-jazz scene based around Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood studios. Their F.Y.E (“Fun Your Ear”) club nights in London specialise in fast-rotating lineups of headliner DJs from different British clubs, seamlessly blending countless styles and genres into one big party sound.

WIN FREE TICKETS!

Correctly answer the following 2 questions and YOU could win a pair of free tickets to the club night:

1. What’s headliner Scrimshire’s new single called?

2. How old is the record label Brownswood Recordings?

Send answers to editor@expats.cz. Correct answers will be put into a raffle, and winners will be notified Friday 24.8 at 15:00. Three winners will make off with two tickets apiece.

Tickets are otherwise 100 CZK, and can be purchased at the door.

Bunkr Parukářka

The event will kick off Saturday night at 21:30. Bunkr Parukářka is (quite literally) the ideal underground venue: the place is an actual nuclear fallout shelter. How to find it? From the Olšanské náměstí tram stop, head around the corner to Parukářka Park. Halfway up the hill you’ll find the entrance to the Bunkr.
