The second month of summer holiday is here, is your family feeling some cabin fever? Get the kids out of the house for a week or two and give everyone a well-deserved break. KinderGarten´s Summer Program is still going on, and with the ability to register by the week, families have the flexibility to choose the perfect time and activities for their little ones.

There are still a lot of fun things to learn and do. Each week there´s a different theme with children discovering something new. From July 26-August 6 the focus is on cooking. Kids will learn about cooking utensils, ingredients and tastes and even try their little hands in the kitchen making pizza and chocolate chip cookies. Have a budding explorer on your hands? Send them over for some jungle exploration from August 9-20. Art projects and a visit to the ZOO are just a few of the fun things going on with a jungle theme. Exploring Native American culture and history is the final term, August 23-31. Wrap the summer up right with learning about tee pees, totem poles and listening to Native American music and legends. The summer program is open to children from two to ten years of age.

KinderGarten is involved in a number of interesting projects for their children. They recently adopted a Ketupa Malaysian owl from the Prague ZOO, the owl being the animal on their logo. The school also cooperates with Mensa CR in building educational learning activities into their curriculum. They offer a range of extracurricular activities, aimed at exposing children to new and different things at a young age. Drama, art and music can all be experienced, and there are always lots of out of school activities planned like trips to the castles, nature, swimming and more.

KinderGarten offers year-round programs for children 18 months to six years. A range of entertaining and educational lessons are led by qualified teachers. KinderGarten offers three types of schools: English preschools (all communication is in English), Chytrá Sovička (English lessons are offered) and company preschools in which businesses have contracted with KinderGarten to operate a school for their employees´ children. There are 15 schools in Prague alone, including three new ones opening this year, in Vinohrady, Nedvězí and Rudná u Prahy.
