Three more metro stations in Prague now have expanded high-speed mobile service.

Residents and tourists stopping at Staroměstská (Metro Line A), Palmovka (Metro Line B) and Florenc (Metro Line B) now have high-speed service and data, The Prague Transport Company (DPP) told Nas Region.

The move comes as the latest development in a plan to expand mobile service to all metro stations. So far, 25 of the 61 total metro stations are covered. In the coming weeks, DPP plans to expand signal to the Malostranská station; then, the section from Motol Hospital to Můstek will be completely covered.

In July, DPP will add connection to Hradčanská and Dejvická.

Right now, you can travel from Florence to Palmovka and from Smíchovské nádraží to Anděl on the B line metro with no mobile service interruptions. On the C line metro, customers have signal from Roztyly and Nádraží Holešovice.

According to officials, the metro will have full high-speed signal by 2022. The new D metro line will have mobile signal built into the construction.
